Muehlenbeckia complexa, or more commonly known as Scrub pohuehue, small-leaved pohuehue, or Pohuehue.

This is a native vine that tangles up into a bush-like mess that is usually around 2m wide and 1m high.

This species has small rounded green leaves and flowers with little black seeds that geckos and birds love. In addition, their dense bush creates an ideal habitat for lizards and insects, and nesting and shelter for birds.

They prefer full sun to partial shade, and tolerates wind and frost well.
