Libertia grandiflora, or more commonly known as the New Zealand iris or by it's Maori name; Mikoikoi.
This species usually grows up to about 0.5m tall by 1m wide. This plant is tolerant of all soil types except very wet areas and prefers full sun to partial shade.
Plant approximately 50cm apart to avoid overcrowding, and make sure they are well watered.

It has yellow/white flower clusters from spring, becoming clusters of orange berries in late summer, which are attractive for native birds.
